This Privacy Policy describes how Sisyphe Labs (시지프랩스, "we", "us"), a business registered in the Republic of Korea (business registration no. 292-19-02948), handles personal information in connection with this website and the Offhook service.
What Offhook is
Offhook is a messaging concierge platform that businesses ("clients") use to respond to their customers on messaging channels such as the WhatsApp Business Platform (a product of Meta Platforms, Inc.). When we process messages exchanged between a client and its customers, we do so on behalf of and under the instructions of that client.
Information we collect
- Website inquiries: if you contact us by email or phone, we receive the contact details and message content you choose to share.
- Service data (processed for clients): message content, sender phone number, profile name, timestamps, and delivery metadata of conversations between a client and its customers on connected messaging channels.
- Operational data: logs and usage records needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we use information
- To provide the service: routing, displaying, and responding to customer messages on behalf of our clients, including generating suggested or automated purpose-specific responses (e.g. booking and consultation assistance) with human oversight.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- To respond to inquiries and manage our business relationships.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client conversation data for advertising.
Sharing
Service data is shared only with: (i) the client whose conversation it belongs to; (ii) infrastructure and processing providers we use to run the service (such as cloud hosting and language-model providers), bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations; and (iii) messaging platform providers (such as Meta) as required to deliver messages. We may disclose information where required by law.
Retention
Website inquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle the inquiry. Service data is retained for as long as the relevant client uses the service, per our agreement with that client, and is deleted or returned upon the client's request or contract termination, unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures — including access control, transport encryption, and audit logging — to protect the information we handle.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at contact@offhook.io. If your data relates to a conversation with one of our clients, we may refer the request to that client, who controls the data.
Children
The service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 14.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page with its effective date.
